What you'll need

1. Charger Removal

Remove the wireless charger from the stone. For guidance, visit our instructions on replacing your wireless charger.

2. Remove the Fan

Removing the fan from the charger is easy and can be done in a few simple steps:

  1. Using an Allen key, remove the four screws from the back of the charger.
  2. Carefully disconnect the connector from the charger as you pull off the fan housing.

3. Install the Replacement Fan

Following the reverse steps from removing the old fan, you will install the new fan.

a. Align the new fan housing with the charger and press it carefully into place.

b. Re-install the four screws using the Allen key. Tighten them until they are snug.

4. Reinstall the Charger

Following the reverse steps from removing the wireless charger from the stone, you will re-install the wireless charger with the new fan back into the stone. For guidance, visit our instructions on replacing your wireless charger.

5. Verify Operation

Once the wireless charger is installed, power it back on and verify that the fan is working. The fan will turn on for a short moment when the wireless charger is first plugged in, and the fan will also turn on each time you place a device on the surface and it begins charging.

Warning: do not attempt to power on the wireless charger before it is installed back in the stone countertop.
