What you'll need

1. Remove existing charger

  1. Before starting the removal process, please unplug your wireless charger through the barrel plug connector closest to the charger itself.
  2. If you are using a magnetic Wireless Charger Cover, gently remove it from the tabs on the left and right.
  3. Using an Allen Key, remove the locking screw and loosen all four set screws.
  4. Once you've removed the locking screw and all four set screws, you can slide the charger and its mounting bracket in the opposite direction of the locking screw, and the wireless charger and mounting bracket can be removed. Be careful as you slide the wireless charger, as it will fall out of the pocket.
2. Mount the replacement charger

Following the opposite steps you used to remove the wireless charger, you will re-install the replacement wireless charger.

  1. Set the replacement wireless charger onto the mounting bracket.
  2. Reinstall the wireless charger into the pocket by pushing up the charger and mounting bracket into the pocket, and sliding it towards the locking screw.
  3. Using your Allen Key, install the locking screw and tighten the four set screws until snug. Do not over-tighten.
3. Power on & setup replacement charger

Once you've installed the replacement charger, you can power it on and set it up with the FreePower Wireless Charging app.

  1. Plug the replacement wireless charger back into the same barrel plug you initially unplugged the original wireless charger from.
  2. Place your phone on the surface to ensure wireless charging works as expected.
  3. Once you've confirmed the replacement wireless charger works, open the FreePower Wireless Charging app, select '+New' on the discovery home screen, and configure your replacement wireless charger to your Wifi network.
